A huge problem in the advertising industry is its lack of diversity. So, to try and solve that problem me and four other creatives created a Black Affinity Group in our agency dedicated to the growth and wellness of Black and African American employees inside the agency. Its mission is to change the culture of advertising and increase Black & African-American representation through support, advocacy and outreach. InTheBlk hopes that others will join in this mission and help shift the industry for the better.

Our efforts, dedication, and creativity were celebrated at the 2024 Adcraft D Show Awards, where we proudly won a Silver D Show Award for our insightful video. Concepted, organized, and directed by Black creatives and produced by Woodward Original, this accolade highlights the significance and success of our initiative, underscoring our commitment to excellence in the industry.
